CROSS EYED MARY is based in Central Iowa, and was formed in 2000.

Founding members Dave Eivins, rythym guitar/lead vocals and Lance Larsen drums/backing vocals, found a perfect fit in Dave Yazel on lead guitar/backing vocals as he was welcomed to the band in 2005. In 2009 the band broke up. After a few years they decided to get back together for a reunion, to benefit a long time friend. At that time, Dennis Nicholson joined the band on bass guitar. After that first show filled with great response and support, the band decided to book some more shows.

All four members of Cross Eyed Mary are seasoned musicians and have played in various bands to include 35 South, Athletic Supporters (house band for Keith Murphy's Sports Soundoff Show on WHO-tv 13). Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees, the Ski Band, and Triple XXX. Cross Eyed Mary's current members have opened for national acts, such as Rick Derringer, Quiet Riot, Firehouse, Black Oak Arkansas, and Foghat to name a few.
